The goldendoodle is a mixed breed of golden retriever and poodle. They are very popular dogs and they are often duplicated by breeders of various countries.

Appearance

The goldendoodle has a low shedding coat, which may vary in color like black, red, silver, phantom colored or parti-colored. Their coats are wavy, curly or straight. The weight of the dog is approximately between 40-60 pounds for females and 60-70 pounds in case of males.

Temperament

The temperament of the goldendoodle is charming as they are well-mannered and intelligent. They can be trained and remain loyal and confident always. They are calmer than the other breeds of the poddle crosses. They like to enjoy their masters and their obedience training can be fun. They don’t like to be left alone and likes to be among everybody. They have less guarding instincts as they can be easily distracted of their attention. They love to swim.

Health

The goldendoole can suffer from hip dysplasia and with other common dog problems. Sometimes they can suffer from eye diseases.

History

The goldendoodle is one of the newest of the doodle or the poddle mix of breed. The breeding of the goldendoodle was conducted in the year 1990, after the breeds like Cockapoo and the Labradoodle became popular. The basic objective behind the breeding of goldendoodle is to create a large doodle which would maintain low shedding coat, low dander and must posses a friendly and intelligent nature of the golden retriever.

I have no qualms in recommending the Secrets to Dog Training package to anyone who owns, or is thinking about owning, a dog. You don’t need to have a “problem pet” for the book to be of assistance: there’s information included that can be useful to any and all dog owners.

From personal experience, the only other thing I would do is upgrade to the Secrets to Dog Training premium version because it has an online video series that is excellent as well as software which allows you to keep track of all the necessary and important details about your dog such as medical history, vaccinations, operations, appointments, obedience training, and much more.
